Similar to how St. Oswald Golf Course is embedded in the natural form of the area, we aim to blend the nature, the game and the contemporary art in a new type of event.
That’s why we selected more than ten artists with their unique artworks, suitable for outdoor display, transforming the ordinary game experience into an exciting art event. Expected to run until the end of September 2022, the exhibition is a perfect complement to golf and also an excellent alternative activity for families looking to spend a few hours away from home.
With this exhibition, the GC Mühlviertel St. Oswald-Freistadt and the course operator offer a unique combination of art and golf.
We wish everyone who is interested, including non-golfers, a (relaxing) exciting art experience on the golf course.

Charta Gallery, founded in early 2022, is located in the heart of the city of Sofia. The gallery has a long corridor, a spacious hall, a courtyard and a garden. Charta’s exhibition plan aims to present a permanent display of both classical and contemporary art. At the same time, being engaged in the cooperation and support of initiatives in the field of art publishing.
Charta Gallery believes that art is a space for freedom of expression, it wants to keep in constant contact with people who enjoy this freedom and use it to contribute to contemporary art. The gallery presents and works with both established and young authors. Charta Gallery presents self-published catalogs and editions featuring a wide collection of new and rare books.
The etymology of the name of the gallery comes from the ancient Greek χάρτης (khártēs), which means paper, papyrus.
Plus 359 Gallery, founded in 2017, stages eight exhibitions every year at its main gallery space in the building of a preserved water tower in Sofia, Bulgaria. It was designed in 1903 by the German engineer Franz Salbach. The construction of the tower started on September 20, 1928 and ended on November 20, 1929. It was built at the highest point of the Lozenets district in Sofia, based on a French system for construction of water towers with reinforced concrete and brick masonry. The building has four floors and one ground floor. The tower’s tank, now hosting various video and audio projects, has a volume of 100 cubic meters. In the past, apart from being a hydraulic structure, the architecture of the building permitted it to serve as a watchtower. Today, this historical landmark is a space for contemporary art.
The Plus 359 Gallery exhibition plan focuses on six programs that include a curatorial practice encouraging collaboration with art practitioners across the country and around the world. Strongly convinced that a commercial gallery must participate in the education and development process of the audience, the Plus 359 Gallery team organizes talks, lectures, special events in the field of contemporary art and culture, publishes art books and catalogs.
Plus 359 Gallery is committed to creating and curating contemporary art initiatives with partner organizations such as the Telelink Contemporary Art Awards project which first edition was held in 2019.
The Mühlviertel St. Oswald-Freistadt Golf Club was founded in 1988 by a handful of novice golfers from St. Oswald and the surrounding area. They leased approximately 6 hectares of meadowland.. The influx of members was so large that in 1991, it was decided to build a 9-hole golf course.
In 1999, a decision was made to build an additional 9 holes, a new clubhouse, and suitable practice facilities. The entire course opened in June 2004, providing members and guests with a golf course that meets the highest standards.
